I’ve been producing music professionally since 2010. After winning a couple of remix contests and being featured on remix compilations, I released albums, singles and EPs that are floating online. However, between 2018-2020, a series of events took the fun out of music production for me (nothing Covid-19 related), and I seriously contemplated on quitting music production indefinitely. I told fellow musicians that I quit music production, and their responses sounded like them shaming me for “wasting my talent” as if they could guilt me into making music again, but it did the very opposite and made me happy to hang up my headphones.
That is until a producer friend from China, who I call “AJK,” sent me an email that almost made me cry because his words caught me off-guard. His approach of bringing up our past (around 2009-2010 timeframe) and his word choices caused me to seriously think about making music again.
Even though I did think about making music again, just the thought of installing my music software on my computer gave me anxiety. I do have musical ideas floating in my head, but my love for manifesting those ideas into actual arts of sound is lost. Right now, I’m trying to find what I lost, which is taking some time. Until I find it and start making music again, below are some of my past works that I’m proud to present to you. Enjoy!
